Woman Fatally Attacked by Lover in Hyderabad's Balapur Over Marriage Pressure

<p>A woman was fatally attacked by her lover at a residence in Bismillah Colony, Balapur, Hyderabad, sending shock through the locality on Monday morning.</p>

<p>The victim has been identified as Rehana. Her partner, Mohammed Salam, is the prime suspect in the case. Both are natives of Bihar and had been residing together at the Bismillah Colony address.</p>

<p>According to police, Rehana had been pressing Salam to marry her for a considerable period. This repeated pressure reportedly led to a heated argument, during which Salam allegedly attacked her with a knife, leaving her fatally wounded.</p>

<p>After the incident, Salam allegedly placed her remains inside a gunny bag, left them in the bedroom of the house, and fled the location.</p>

<p>The Balapur police reached the spot once the incident came to light and registered a case. Preliminary inquiries have confirmed the relationship between the two and the circumstances leading up to the fatal confrontation.</p>
