Akbaruddin Owaisi Questions Congress Govt Over Pending Scholarship Arrears in Telangana

<p>AIMIM floor leader Akbaruddin Owaisi has taken aim at the Telangana Congress government, questioning why it has not cleared pending scholarship arrears owed to students in the state.</p>
<p>Owaisi pointed out that the previous BRS government had cleared Rs 19,216.37 crore in scholarship arrears covering the period from 2014-15 to 2023-24, and asked why the current Congress administration cannot match that record.</p>
<p>The AIMIM leader pressed the Congress government to explain why it is failing to pay students what they are owed, framing it as a matter of basic accountability to student communities across Telangana.</p>
